If you haven’t already downloaded Smart Driver Updater on the main page of DriverUpdateHub.com, then this is the first thing you need to do to get started. Smart Driver Updater is safe to download and install. Initiate the download by clicking this link.
Now your download will initiate.
- A) You can follow the download progress in lower left corner of your browser. When the download has been completed you can start the install by clicking the filename (often in the same location the download progress was shown). If you can’t locate it, then you can find the program in your Windows folder “Downloaded files” as well. Look for the file/program named Smart Driver Updater.exe – and start installing by clicking on it.
- B) Sometimes you’ll have to give Windows permission to start the install as well. If so choose “Yes/Run”.
When the actual install has started successfully, the first you’ll see is a Smart Driver Updater dialog, where you’ll have to accept the terms of using the program

The installation pretty much takes care of itself. Before you know it Smart Driver Updater has scanned your PC for outdated drivers and are presenting an overview of those for you.

Your PC has now been scanned for missing and outdated drivers. Now it’s time to decide if you want to register for the full version of Smart Driver Updater (recommended) and let the program update your drivers, or if you’d like to download them manually by using the info given for free by Smart Driver Updater (We recommend that you register your version of the program by selecting “Update all”). If you do as recommended then Smart Driver Updater will initiate download of the correct drivers and help you install each of them. As a precaution you should let Smart Driver Updater create a backup of your current drivers before it installs the new ones. Should any problems occur it’s easy to reverse it with the backup.
WE’RE ALMOST DONE
When/if the backup has been created the actual process of installing the new drivers will initiate. This can take some time depending on how many drivers your PC needs. So kick back and enjoy a cup of coffee, while Smart Driver Updater is doing the hard work for you. Please be aware that sometimes the PC will have to restart a few time, while running this process. So, if you have any unsaved work, such as a Word document, you should save it before starting. It’s also recommended to close all other programs to optimize the process.
YOUR PC DRIVERS HAS NOW BEEN INSTALLED AND UPDATED
Now the updated drivers has been installed! More often than not this will result in a obvious faster PC, but you’ll probably also experience that some of your hardware and software has entirely new functions available due to the update. Remember to run Smart Driver Updater once in a while to make sure, that you always have the latest drivers installed on your PC. Sometimes Smart Driver Updater will prompt you to upgrade to “UniBlue Powersuite” as well. This is not necessary, but if you want your PC to be totally optimized and faster it can be recommended.
